Job Overview: We are hiring an HR & Admin Support Specialist for a rapidly growing start-up based in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a dynamic HR professional who can balance both strategic planning and hands-on HR operations in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will be a key contributor to building and maintaining a scalable HR infrastructure as the organization grows.
Key Responsibilities: The role involves overseeing recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement, as well as ensuring full compliance with UAE labor laws. From onboarding to offboarding, payroll coordination to policy implementation, your contribution will be crucial in maintaining a high-performing and compliant work environment.
Start-Up Experience Preferred: We’re especially looking for someone who understands the pace and flexibility required in start-up ecosystems. If you’ve previously worked in digital media, tech start-ups, or multinational companies, your ability to integrate HR best practices with evolving business needs will be highly valued.
Operational HR Excellence: Your day-to-day duties will include managing HR documentation, handling employee inquiries, maintaining HR systems, and supporting visa and benefits processing. The ideal candidate should be organized, discreet, and confident in managing sensitive employee matters.
UAE Labor Law Knowledge: A strong understanding of UAE labor laws is a must, including regulatory procedures related to hiring, termination, and employee rights. You will serve as the go-to person for compliance-related questions and ensure the company remains up to date with local legislation.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: As the voice of HR, you’ll need to be well-spoken, confident, and approachable. This role demands excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to build trust with employees and leadership alike. You should also be capable of collaborating with external service providers and government bodies.
