Role Overview – Dr Thaj Laser Skin & Hair Clinic is hiring a Senior HR Executive for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for experienced HR professionals with strong healthcare sector knowledge, strategic HR capabilities, and the ability to lead HR functions, manage recruitment, ensure compliance, drive employee engagement, and support clinic operations within a medical aesthetic and healthcare environment.
Strategic HR Operations and Leadership – You will lead strategic HR operations by managing end-to-end HR functions, developing HR strategies aligned with clinic objectives, implementing HR initiatives that support organizational effectiveness, advising management on people matters, and positioning HR as a strategic partner supporting Dr Thaj Clinic's growth and service excellence.
Healthcare Recruitment and Talent Acquisition – You will manage healthcare recruitment by developing recruitment strategies for medical professionals (dermatologists, aesthetic doctors, nurses, therapists), beauty therapists, aestheticians, laser technicians, patient coordinators, and support staff, sourcing candidates through healthcare networks, conducting interviews and assessments, coordinating medical license verification, and ensuring timely hiring of qualified healthcare talent.
Medical Licensing and DHA Coordination – You will coordinate medical licensing and DHA compliance by managing doctor license applications with Dubai Health Authority (DHA), coordinating professional license renewals for nurses and therapists, tracking license validity, ensuring all medical staff maintain current DHA licenses, coordinating HAAD/DOH transfers when applicable, and maintaining healthcare regulatory compliance.
Employee Onboarding and Integration – You will oversee employee onboarding by designing comprehensive onboarding programs for medical and support staff, preparing employment contracts and documentation, conducting clinic orientation sessions, facilitating integration into clinical teams, coordinating training on clinic systems and protocols, and ensuring positive onboarding experiences.
Employee Relations and Engagement – You will manage employee relations and drive engagement by addressing employee concerns, mediating workplace conflicts, conducting employee satisfaction surveys, implementing engagement initiatives, facilitating open communication, managing grievance procedures, and fostering positive workplace culture across clinical and administrative teams.
HR Policies and Healthcare Compliance – You will develop and implement HR policies by establishing HR procedures for healthcare settings, ensuring compliance with UAE labor law and DHA regulations, maintaining employee handbooks, implementing disciplinary procedures, coordinating infection control and safety training, and ensuring all HR practices adhere to healthcare standards and legal requirements.
Visa and Immigration Coordination – You will coordinate visa and immigration processes by managing medical professional visa applications, liaising with PROs and government authorities (MOHRE, ICA, DHA), preparing visa documentation, tracking visa statuses, coordinating medical tests and Emirates ID processing, ensuring professional license visa coordination, and completing all immigration activities accurately and on time.
Payroll Administration and Benefits Management – You will oversee payroll and benefits administration by coordinating payroll processing, verifying attendance and leave data for shift-based clinic operations, managing salary adjustments, administering health insurance and benefits programs, coordinating end-of-service benefit calculations, and ensuring accurate, timely payroll delivery.
Performance Management and Development – You will lead performance management by implementing performance appraisal systems for clinical and non-clinical staff, coordinating review cycles, setting performance standards and KPIs, providing coaching guidance to managers, managing performance improvement plans, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
Training and Development Coordination – You will coordinate training and development by organizing clinical training (laser safety, aesthetic procedures, patient care protocols), product knowledge training, customer service excellence programs, coordinating DHA CPD (Continuing Professional Development) requirements for medical professionals, tracking certifications, and supporting continuous professional development.
Leave and Attendance Management – You will manage leave and attendance by tracking employee leave balances, processing leave requests for shift-based clinic operations, monitoring absenteeism, coordinating shift coverage for clinical staff, generating attendance reports, and ensuring compliance with clinic leave policies and UAE labor law.
HR Reporting and Analytics – You will prepare HR reports and analytics by tracking key HR metrics (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment effectiveness, retention rates, staff productivity), analyzing workforce data, preparing management dashboards, providing insights to support decision-making, and maintaining accurate HR statistics.
Organizational Development Support – You will support organizational development by assisting with organizational design for clinic expansion, managing restructuring when needed, implementing change management initiatives, supporting succession planning, and contributing to organizational effectiveness and clinic growth.
Compensation and Benefits Management – You will manage compensation and benefits by conducting salary benchmarking for healthcare roles, ensuring competitive compensation packages, managing health insurance coordination, administering clinic benefits (accommodation, transportation when applicable), and supporting compensation strategies that attract and retain medical talent.
HRIS and HR Systems Management – You will manage HR systems by maintaining employee data in HRIS platforms, generating reports, tracking workflows, ensuring system accuracy, coordinating system improvements, and leveraging HR technology to enhance efficiency and data management.
Clinic Operations HR Support – You will support clinic operations by coordinating staffing for patient appointments and procedures, managing shift schedules for doctors and clinic staff, supporting emergency coverage arrangements, coordinating locum or temporary medical staff when needed, and ensuring adequate staffing for smooth clinic operations.
Patient Safety and Staff Compliance – You will support patient safety and staff compliance by coordinating mandatory health screenings for clinic staff, managing infection control training records, ensuring vaccination compliance, coordinating health and safety training, and maintaining compliance with healthcare facility staff requirements.
