Job Description
Frontline Retail Hiring: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be primarily responsible for frontline retail hiring, ensuring that the right talent is brought on board to support the company’s growing retail operations. This involves sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates who fit both the technical requirements and cultural values of the organization.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening: You will be expected to utilize various sourcing strategies, including job portals, social media platforms, and employee referrals, to identify top talent. A structured approach to screening and interviewing will be essential to ensure only qualified candidates progress through the recruitment funnel.
Stakeholder Engagement: A key part of the role is to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and retail leaders. You will collaborate closely with them to understand manpower needs, align on hiring priorities, and provide regular updates on recruitment progress while ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Approach: The ideal candidate should bring a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with challenges such as urgent hiring needs or competitive talent markets. Your ability to navigate constraints and still deliver results with minimal supervision will be highly valued.
Tools and Technology Proficiency: The role demands proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis, along with strong presentation skills to communicate recruitment progress and insights effectively. Comfort with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment platforms will further enhance efficiency in managing hiring pipelines.
Ownership and Accountability: You will be expected to take complete ownership of assigned hiring projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained. This requires a proactive attitude, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to driving recruitment excellence.
