Job Overview: Clair Group is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant – AP & GL to join our finance team in Riyadh. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in accounts payable and general ledger processes who are looking to make a meaningful impact in a multinational or shared services environment.

Core Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include managing the accounts payable function, processing vendor invoices, coordinating payments, reconciling general ledger accounts, and ensuring the financial records are up-to-date and compliant with internal controls and external regulations.

IFRS Compliance: A strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential for this role. You will be expected to apply IFRS principles to financial reporting and assist in preparing audit-ready financial statements.

ERP System Utilization: Hands-on experience with ERP systems is a must. You’ll be expected to use accounting modules effectively to enter transactions, run reports, and automate tasks that help maintain efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Cross-functional Collaboration: The role involves close collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders. Candidates with prior experience in multinational corporations or shared service centers will be well-equipped to navigate complex financial processes and multiple communication channels.

Reporting & Controls: You'll support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. This includes preparing reconciliations, reviewing ledger balances, and ensuring transactions are properly recorded and classified.
