Job Overview: Amwaj Group is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Recruitment Officer to join our HR team in Qatar. The role will be responsible for handling end-to-end recruitment activities, specifically for positions within the Facilities Management (FM) sector, which includes technicians, cleaners, engineers, supervisors, and other key roles. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company attracts, hires, and retains the best local talent available.
Key Responsibilities: As a Recruitment Officer, you will manage the complete recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and preparing offers. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding workforce requirements, building strong candidate pipelines, and ensuring a smooth and professional recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Focus on Facilities Management: The role specifically demands recruitment experience in the FM industry. You will be expected to identify, evaluate, and place candidates in both technical and non-technical roles within the facilities management function. Strong knowledge of the local labor market in Qatar will be essential to source skilled workers efficiently and maintain a reliable pool of candidates.
Candidate Management: The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date candidate records, recruitment dashboards, and reporting. The ability to utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and digital sourcing tools effectively will be key to improving efficiency and ensuring the recruitment process remains transparent and aligned with company policies.
Collaboration and Coordination: This role requires strong interaction with hiring managers and department heads to clearly understand job requirements. The successful candidate will schedule interviews, provide feedback to applicants, and assist in the selection process. By serving as a bridge between management and candidates, the Recruitment Officer will ensure effective communication and alignment at all stages of recruitment.
Candidate Profile: The ideal applicant will bring 3–5 years of proven experience in recruitment, preferably within facilities management, engineering, or service-related sectors. A strong understanding of Qatar’s labor regulations, local market practices, and visa processes is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and professional communication are mandatory to succeed in this role.
