Job Description
Role Overview – YAS Global is hiring a Recruiter Intern who is passionate about talent acquisition and ready to learn end-to-end recruitment. This paid internship in Business Bay, Dubai runs for 2-3 months with the opportunity for a permanent role based on performance. Female candidates are preferred and must be available in the UAE.
End-to-End Recruitment Learning – You will learn the complete recruitment lifecycle including understanding hiring requirements, creating job descriptions, posting job advertisements, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting the entire recruitment process from requisition to offer.
Candidate Sourcing – You will source candidates through various channels including job portals (LinkedIn, Bayt, Naukri Gulf, Indeed), social media platforms, recruitment databases, networking, referrals, and other sourcing methods. You will learn effective sourcing strategies, identify quality candidates, build talent pools, and develop skills in finding suitable candidates for various positions.
Resume Screening and Shortlisting – You will screen resumes and applications by reviewing candidate qualifications, assessing experience and skills against job requirements, identifying qualified candidates, shortlisting applicants for interviews, filtering out unqualified applications, and learning to evaluate candidate suitability efficiently.
Interview Coordination – You will coordinate interviews by scheduling interview appointments, coordinating between candidates and hiring managers, sending interview invitations and confirmations, preparing interview materials, managing interview calendars, rescheduling when needed, following up with candidates, and ensuring smooth interview logistics.
Candidate Communication – You will communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process including initial contact, providing job information, explaining interview processes, sending updates on application status, gathering candidate feedback, maintaining professional communication, and ensuring positive candidate experiences.
Initial Screening Calls – You will conduct initial screening calls with candidates to verify basic qualifications, assess communication skills, understand candidate backgrounds, discuss salary expectations, confirm availability and notice periods, gauge candidate interest, and determine if candidates should proceed to next interview stages.
Database and CRM Management – You will maintain recruitment databases and CRM systems by updating candidate information, logging recruitment activities, tracking application statuses, organizing candidate records, managing job postings, maintaining accurate data, and keeping recruitment systems current and organized.
Job Posting and Advertising – You will create and post job advertisements on various platforms, write compelling job descriptions, optimize postings for visibility, manage job board accounts, refresh postings regularly, track posting performance, and ensure job openings receive adequate visibility to attract candidates.
Recruitment Metrics Tracking – You will track recruitment metrics including number of candidates sourced, applications received, interviews scheduled, offers made, time-to-fill positions, source effectiveness, and other KPIs. You will learn data-driven recruitment and understand metrics that measure recruitment success.
Hiring Manager Coordination – You will coordinate with hiring managers by understanding their hiring needs, clarifying job requirements, providing candidate updates, scheduling interviews, gathering interview feedback, discussing candidate suitability, and supporting hiring decisions through effective coordination.
Offer Process Support – You will support the offer process by preparing offer letters, coordinating offer approvals, extending offers to candidates, negotiating basic terms under supervision, managing offer acceptance, coordinating onboarding documentation, and facilitating smooth transition from candidate to new hire.
Market Research – You will conduct market research on salary benchmarks, industry hiring trends, competitor recruitment practices, talent availability in different sectors, and recruitment best practices. You will learn about UAE job market dynamics and recruitment landscape.
Administrative Support – You will provide recruitment administrative support including maintaining recruitment files, preparing recruitment reports, organizing candidate documents, scheduling meetings, managing recruitment calendars, preparing presentations, and supporting various administrative tasks that facilitate recruitment operations.
Learning and Professional Development – You will actively learn recruitment best practices, absorb knowledge from experienced recruiters, participate in training sessions, seek feedback to improve skills, study recruitment techniques, ask questions, stay curious about talent acquisition, and develop foundation for recruitment career.
Networking and Relationship Building – You will build professional networks by connecting with candidates, maintaining relationships with potential talent, engaging with recruitment communities, learning networking strategies, and developing relationship-building skills essential for successful recruitment careers.
