Role Overview
Fundamental Hospitality is hiring a Human Resources Specialist at our Head Office in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for HR professionals with proven experience in hospitality human resources, strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and support multiple hospitality properties from our central office.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Manage recruitment and talent acquisition across Fundamental Hospitality properties by posting job advertisements, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and ensuring timely hiring of quality talent for various hospitality positions.
Employee Onboarding and Orientation
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation by preparing welcome materials, conducting orientation sessions, processing employment documentation, coordinating with properties for workspace setup, and ensuring smooth integration of new hires across the organization.
HR Documentation and Record Management
Maintain comprehensive HR documentation and records by managing personnel files, processing employment contracts, updating HRMS, tracking certifications and licenses, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for employees across all Fundamental Hospitality properties.
Visa and Immigration Processing
Handle visa and immigration processing by coordinating work permit applications, managing visa renewals, liaising with PRO services, tracking visa status, ensuring timely processing, and maintaining compliance with UAE immigration regulations for hospitality staff.
Payroll Coordination and Processing
Coordinate payroll processing by collecting timesheets from properties, verifying attendance data, processing salary information, managing payroll documentation, coordinating with finance, and ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement to all employees.
Employee Relations and Engagement
Support employee relations and engagement by addressing employee inquiries and concerns, facilitating communication between staff and management, implementing engagement initiatives, conducting exit interviews, and fostering positive workplace culture across properties.
Performance Management Support
Support performance management processes by coordinating performance reviews, tracking probation periods, maintaining appraisal records, facilitating feedback sessions, and assisting property managers with performance-related documentation and processes.
HR Compliance and Labor Law
Ensure HR compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations by implementing compliant policies, managing employment contracts per legal standards, coordinating with MOHRE, ensuring regulatory adherence, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labor law requirements.
Training and Development Coordination
Coordinate training and development by identifying training needs across properties, organizing hospitality skills training, scheduling development programs, maintaining training records, and supporting employee growth and capability building.
Leave and Attendance Management
Manage leave and attendance systems by tracking employee time-off across properties, processing leave requests, monitoring attendance patterns, coordinating with payroll, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor law leave entitlements.
Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefits by managing health insurance enrollments, coordinating end-of-service settlements, processing gratuity calculations, explaining benefit programs, and ensuring employees receive entitled benefits per UAE regulations.
HR Reporting and Analytics
Prepare HR reports and analytics including headcount reports across properties, turnover analysis, recruitment metrics, training reports, visa tracking, and other HR data that inform management decisions and support workforce planning.
Multi-Property HR Support
Provide HR support to multiple hospitality properties by coordinating with property managers, addressing HR needs, implementing consistent HR practices, ensuring policy adherence, and serving as central HR resource for all Fundamental Hospitality locations.
