Job Title: Woodlem Education is urgently seeking experienced HR Officers to join our dynamic team. This role is specifically designed for HR professionals with strong backgrounds in school operations, as prior school HR experience is mandatory. Successful candidates will contribute to building a compliant, supportive, and efficient HR environment that directly enhances the school community.
Key Responsibilities: As an HR Officer, you will oversee a variety of human resource functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll management, employee relations, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in aligning HR practices with the academic calendar and ensuring smooth coordination between administration and staff.
Recruitment & Onboarding: The role involves managing end-to-end recruitment processes for academic and non-academic staff, arranging interviews, and ensuring new hires are effectively onboarded. You will also coordinate visa processes, labor cards, and ensure proper documentation is submitted to KHDA and other regulatory authorities.
Employee Relations & Engagement: You will support employee relations by addressing grievances, maintaining transparent communication, and fostering a positive work environment. Performance appraisal support, staff well-being initiatives, and training coordination will form an essential part of your responsibilities.
Payroll & HRMS Administration: You will be responsible for managing staff attendance, processing payroll accurately, and updating HRMS/ERP systems with employee data. Compliance with UAE labor law and timely handling of leave, benefits, and final settlements will be integral to this role.
Policy & Compliance: Drafting HR policies, letters, and communications will be required, ensuring they align with the school’s mission and UAE legal framework. You will also ensure full compliance with labor regulations, KHDA guidelines, and school operational requirements.
