Job Overview: Techkn is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to oversee our people operations in a fully remote setup. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, offering professionals the opportunity to manage and lead HR functions across a distributed workforce. Candidates with strong organizational, communication, and compliance skills are highly encouraged to apply.
Recruitment & Onboarding: As the HR Manager, you will lead end-to-end recruitment including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and issuing offer letters. You will also ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, fostering early engagement and clarity on company policies and processes.
Payroll & Compliance: Managing accurate monthly payroll processing is a core responsibility. You’ll coordinate with finance to ensure timely payments, track attendance, leave balances, and ensure compliance with statutory deductions and labor laws applicable to remote staff.
Employee Records Management: You will maintain up-to-date employee databases, HR documentation, contracts, and personal files, ensuring all information is accurate and securely stored in digital HR systems in line with data protection regulations.
HR Operations: You’ll provide daily HR support by addressing employee queries, managing leave applications, and guiding employees on HR policies. You will also assist in performance reviews, employee engagement activities, and handling any disciplinary or grievance procedures.
Policy Implementation: In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, reviewing, and enforcing HR policies that support a productive, inclusive, and compliant work environment. You’ll also ensure employees are trained on updates or changes to HR procedures.
