Job Description
Role Overview: The HR Manager will lead human resources operations for the company’s India branch, overseeing all aspects of employee management, recruitment, compliance, and HR policy development specific to the maritime and industrial sectors. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of industry-specific HR practices.
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with corporate goals, focusing on workforce planning, retention strategies, and organizational culture enhancement within maritime operations.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for ship crew, technical staff, and onshore personnel, ensuring candidates meet operational, compliance, and safety standards.
Employee Relations & Development: Oversee employee engagement, conflict resolution, performance appraisals, and career development programs to improve retention and skill advancement.
Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws, maritime employment regulations, and international labor standards. Keep company policies updated and aligned with industry requirements.
