Job Description

Lead People Strategy Across Dubai's Vibrant Hospitality Portfolio

Vision Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic HR Manager in Dubai to drive people operations across our restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. You'll build high-performing hospitality teams, create exceptional workplace culture, ensure compliance in fast-paced F&B environments, and position HR as strategic partner to operational excellence.

Architect Hospitality Talent Strategy

You'll design and execute recruitment strategies that attract top hospitality talent – experienced bartenders, skilled chefs, professional servers, venue managers, event coordinators, and kitchen teams. You'll understand what makes great hospitality professionals, build talent pipelines for multiple venues, partner with recruitment agencies, leverage social media for hospitality hiring, and ensure Vision Hospitality consistently attracts passionate people who deliver memorable guest experiences.

Own End-to-End Recruitment Operations

You'll manage full-cycle recruitment across all venue positions. This means posting compelling job advertisements, screening hundreds of hospitality applications, conducting efficient interviews, assessing service attitude and technical skills, coordinating trial shifts for F&B positions, negotiating offers, and filling positions quickly in an industry where vacancies directly impact guest service and revenue.

Build Exceptional Onboarding Experiences

First impressions matter in hospitality. You'll create onboarding programs that immerse new hires in Vision Hospitality culture, coordinate venue-specific training (POS systems, menu knowledge, service standards, bar techniques), facilitate required certifications (food safety, alcohol service), ensure uniform fitting and setup, and launch employees successfully so they're confident and effective from day one.

Master UAE Labor Law and Hospitality Compliance

Hospitality has unique labor regulations. You'll ensure employment contracts comply with UAE Labor Law, manage work permits and visas for international hospitality staff, handle tip distribution policies legally, calculate overtime correctly for shift workers, process gratuity for high-turnover environments, coordinate with MOHRE and immigration authorities, and protect Vision Hospitality from compliance risks.

Navigate Complex Visa and Immigration Needs

Hospitality relies heavily on international talent. You'll coordinate employment visa processing for diverse nationalities, manage quota allocations across venues, expedite urgent visa processing for key hires, handle visa renewals and cancellations efficiently, coordinate with PRO services effectively, track expiry dates across large teams, and ensure seamless immigration administration.

    FAQs

1. How does hospitality HR differ from corporate HR, and why does it matter for this role?

Hospitality HR operates at completely different pace and scale than corporate environments. You'll recruit constantly because turnover rates in restaurants and bars are 60-80% annually compared to 15-20% in corporate settings. You're hiring every week, not every quarter.

2. What does "multi-venue HR management" actually mean day-to-day?

You'll oversee HR for multiple restaurant and bar locations across Dubai – think Irish pub, sports bar, restaurant concepts, possibly event spaces – each with different team sizes, peak periods, and operational needs.

3. What are the biggest HR challenges in Dubai's hospitality market right now?

Talent competition is fierce. Dubai has hundreds of restaurants, bars, and hotels competing for the same skilled bartenders, experienced servers, qualified chefs. You need creative sourcing, competitive offers, and compelling employer brand to win talent wars.
