Role Overview – Delhi Private School – Ras Al Khaimah is expanding and seeking an experienced HR Executive to strengthen our people operations. This position requires minimum 3 years UAE school experience (mandatory) and is ideal for HR professionals who understand UAE labour laws, can manage HR operations end-to-end, and know how to balance compliance with people-first culture.
End-to-End HR Operations Management – You will manage comprehensive HR operations including recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, employment documentation, leave and attendance management, performance management support, employee relations, exit management, payroll coordination, compliance, and all HR activities supporting the school's educational mission and workforce.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition – You will manage recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff including posting vacancies, sourcing qualified educators and support staff, screening applications and CVs, conducting interviews, coordinating with school leadership on hiring decisions, processing offer letters, coordinating background checks and references, and ensuring successful hiring of qualified school personnel.
Teacher and Staff Onboarding – You will coordinate comprehensive onboarding for new teachers and staff including preparing employment contracts, facilitating orientation programs, conducting HR inductions on school policies and procedures, coordinating teaching license processing when applicable, arranging system access and resources, ensuring completion of joining formalities, and creating positive onboarding experiences that support retention.
UAE Labour Law Compliance – You will demonstrate understanding of UAE labour laws by ensuring HR practices comply with employment legislation, implementing compliant employment contracts (limited/unlimited), managing proper notice periods and end-of-service benefits, coordinating with PRO on visa and labor card processing, handling terminations according to law, and protecting the school from legal and regulatory risks.
UAE School HR Expertise – You will apply minimum 3 years UAE school experience (mandatory requirement) by understanding school-specific HR needs including teacher employment cycles, academic calendars affecting HR planning, KHDA or ADEK regulatory requirements for RAK schools, teacher licensing and credentials, managing diverse international teaching staff, school break periods, parent-teacher dynamics affecting HR, and educational sector employment practices.
KHDA/ADEK Compliance – You will ensure compliance with Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) or Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) requirements relevant to RAK schools including teacher qualification approvals, licensing requirements, staff-to-student ratios, background check requirements, regulatory inspections, and educational authority mandates.
Teacher Licensing and Credentials – You will coordinate teacher licensing processes with relevant authorities, verify teaching qualifications and credentials, process teaching permit applications, coordinate educational certificate attestations, track license renewals, ensure all teaching staff hold valid licenses and qualifications, and maintain compliance with teaching authorization requirements.
