Job Description
Leading human resources strategy for large-scale, labor-intensive industrial operations requires an executive leader who combines operational grit with strategic commercial acumen. Driving human capital management across safety-critical, multi-site environments demands thorough knowledge of regional labor laws, high-volume frontline workforce optimization, and active employee relations management. Kingston Stanley is partnering with a prominent UAE enterprise to appoint a proven HR Director to oversee human resources for a massive, shift-based operational business unit. Reporting directly to the Business Unit Chief Executive Officer, this high-impact executive position is ideal for an accomplished HR leader who excels at managing large-scale manpower deployments, controlling labor overhead, and enforcing strict health, safety, and environmental standards across industrial operations.
The primary responsibilities of this position center on establishing and executing human resources strategies across a multi-site operational footprint supporting more than 3,000 full-time employees. Daily duties involve leading end-to-end employee relations frameworks, optimizing workforce planning models, driving manpower productivity, and maintaining strict compliance with UAE Labor Law and HSE mandates. The HR Director will partner closely with operational site heads to streamline shift-based staffing structures, direct industrial grievance and disciplinary protocols, manage HR operational budgets, and build robust talent acquisition pipelines for both frontline labor and executive personnel. Additionally, the role involves advising the Business Unit CEO on human capital risks, driving organizational change initiatives, and leading a high-performing HR management team.
Candidates applying for this executive role must demonstrate between 10 and 15 years of progressive human resources experience, including at least five years operating at a senior leadership level within labor-intensive, safety-critical industries such as waste management, utilities, infrastructure, facilities management, or heavy industrial services. Proven expertise supporting large-scale frontline workforces of 3,000 or more full-time employees across shift-based and multi-site environments is required. Applicants must possess master-level command of UAE Labor Law, exceptional employee relations and crisis management skills, a strong track record in labor cost control and workforce productivity, and demonstrated experience operating collaboratively within HSE-regulated workplaces.
The position offers an executive monthly package ranging between AED 40,000 and AED 50,000, along with executive performance incentives and statutory provisions under UAE labor law.
