Job Description
Role Overview – HZ Development is hiring an HR Assistant for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for organized, detail-oriented HR professionals with foundational experience in human resources operations who are eager to support recruitment, employee administration, HR documentation, and day-to-day HR activities within a dynamic and growing organization.
Recruitment Support – You will assist with the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening CVs, coordinating interview schedules, communicating with candidates, and maintaining recruitment trackers to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding – You will support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing employment documentation, coordinating induction schedules, collecting required paperwork, processing resignations, and ensuring all joining and exit formalities are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies.
HR Documentation and Record Management – You will maintain accurate HR records by updating employee files, managing personnel databases, organizing contracts and agreements, and ensuring all documentation is properly filed, accessible, and compliant with UAE labor law and internal audit requirements.
Payroll and Attendance Support – You will assist with payroll administration by collecting attendance data, coordinating with the payroll team on employee information updates, processing leave requests, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing each month.
Employee Relations and Communication – You will support employee relations by responding to HR inquiries, assisting with policy clarifications, coordinating internal communications, and serving as a point of contact for employee concerns, escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
HR Policy and Compliance – You will support HR compliance by maintaining knowledge of UAE labor law, assisting with visa and immigration processes, coordinating medical insurance enrollment, and ensuring all employee-related activities adhere to regulatory and organizational requirements.
Training and Development Coordination – You will assist in organizing training sessions by coordinating schedules, booking venues, preparing training materials, tracking employee participation, and maintaining training records that support employee development and compliance requirements.
Administrative HR Support – You will provide general administrative support to the HR department by managing calendars, preparing HR reports, drafting correspondence, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the HR function operates smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
HR Experience – Prior experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar HR support role is required. Your background should demonstrate foundational knowledge of HR operations, recruitment support, and employee administration within a professional work environment.
UAE Labor Law Awareness – Basic knowledge of UAE labor law and HR compliance practices is preferred. Familiarity with visa processing, employment contracts, and end-of-service benefits will strengthen your candidacy.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for coordinating with employees, candidates, hiring managers, and external service providers. A professional, approachable, and service-oriented attitude is key to success in this role.
Organizational and Multitasking Abilities – Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are critical. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail across all HR functions.
MS Office Proficiency – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with HRIS platforms or HR management software is a plus and will enable more efficient data management and reporting.
Discretion and Confidentiality – A high level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential employee information with integrity and professionalism are essential for maintaining trust and upholding HR best practices.
