Job Description
Leadership in HR & Administration: As the HR & Admin Manager at Organi Group, you will be at the helm of all human resources and administrative operations across a joint venture in the mining and marine industries. This leadership role demands strategic oversight and day-to-day management of HR systems, compliance, talent development, and general administration within a dynamic industrial environment.
Policy Implementation & Compliance: You will be responsible for designing and enforcing company policies that align with labor laws and organizational goals. This includes handling regulatory compliance, health and safety policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee handbook updates to ensure a compliant and well-governed workplace.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Your role will involve developing recruitment strategies and workforce planning for both skilled and unskilled labor across the mining and marine divisions. You will oversee the entire hiring process—sourcing, screening, and onboarding—ensuring each hire aligns with the organization’s culture and operational needs.
Performance Management & Employee Development: You will be responsible for managing performance review systems, KPIs, and employee development programs. Working closely with department heads, you will identify training needs, implement development plans, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Administrative Operations Oversight: You’ll supervise day-to-day administrative functions, including office operations, document management, staff travel, vendor coordination, and interdepartmental support. Your strong organizational and leadership skills will be crucial in streamlining admin functions across multiple sites and remote operations.
Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Maintaining positive employee relations across culturally diverse teams is a major component of this role. You’ll act as a mediator and counselor to resolve conflicts, conduct investigations when necessary, and ensure fair treatment and confidentiality in all employee matters.
