Seating and Waitlist Management: The role is responsible for escorting guests to their assigned tables while managing wait times efficiently. The Hostess maintains accurate seating charts and waiting lists, ensuring smooth table turnover and balanced dining room flow to maximize guest comfort and satisfaction.

Telephone and Reservation Handling: This position manages incoming telephone inquiries related to reservations, menus, and dining information. The Hostess communicates clearly and courteously, ensuring guests receive accurate details while maintaining organized reservation records at the hostess desk.

Team Supervision and Training: The Hostess supports the supervision of the hostess team by organizing daily duties and guiding team members throughout service. This role also assists in training new staff, ensuring service standards, etiquette, and operational procedures are consistently followed.

Dining Room Coordination: Constant monitoring of the dining area is essential to ensure table availability, guest safety, and service readiness. The Hostess works closely with the Restaurant Manager and service teams to coordinate seating decisions and respond promptly to changing operational needs.

Guest Relationship Building: A key responsibility of this role is building rapport with repeat guests to encourage loyalty and personalized service. The Hostess remembers guest preferences, communicates special requests, and contributes to a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
