Job Overview: Ansar Mall is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to join our HR department in the UAE. This role is ideal for an individual from a retail background with 3–5 years of UAE HR experience, who is passionate about employee engagement, organizational development, and compliance with UAE labor laws.
Key Responsibilities: As an Assistant Manager – HR, you will manage a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, and performance management. You will also ensure that HR policies are effectively implemented and aligned with both company goals and UAE labor regulations.
Recruitment & Onboarding: You will oversee the entire recruitment cycle from job postings and candidate screening to final selection and onboarding. This includes developing job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and ensuring that all new hires are smoothly integrated into the company culture and operational workflows.
Employee Relations & Development: A critical part of your role will involve managing employee relations, addressing workplace concerns, and ensuring a harmonious work environment. You will also support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth within the retail industry.
Compliance & HR Operations: You will ensure all HR activities comply with UAE labor laws, manage visa processing, and maintain accurate employee records. In addition, you will work closely with department managers to ensure manpower planning meets business needs during peak retail seasons.
Skills & Competencies: The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in HR software, MS Office, and knowledge of UAE labor laws is essential. The ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain confidentiality is key to success in this role.
